Promotion Terms & Conditions

Here you’ll find the terms and conditions for our current and recently past promotions. Each offer is subject to its own specific details—including valid dates, exclusions, and eligibility—so please take a moment to read carefully before making a purchase.

All promotional purchases are still subject to our standard returns process. For full details, please refer to our Returns Policy.

SPRING COMPETITION

1. Promoter

The promoter of this Competition ("Promotion") is OnceWas ("Promoter"), ABN 46 640 204 084, located at 635 Burwood Road, Hawthorn East, VIC 3123. For any enquiries related to this Promotion, please contact hello@oncewas.com.au.

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins at 10:00 AM AEST on 10 July 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM AEST on 23 July 2026 ("Promotion Period"). No entries will be accepted outside this period.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible to win The Ultimate VIP Experience, you must be an Australian resident.
Global entrants are eligible to win access to the Private Virtual Spring Preview.
To be eligible for The Ultimate VIP Experience, you must be available to travel to Melbourne for the VIP event on 31 July 2026. If the first drawn winner is unable to travel, they will instead receive a virtual 1:1 styling session and Spring preview with our founder, and a second winner will be drawn for the Ultimate VIP Experience.
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
Entrants must make a purchase of $350 AUD or more from the OnceWas website during the Promotion Period.
Orders that are refunded or credited will no longer be eligible for the Promotion.
Employees of the Promoter, affiliated agencies, partners, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

4. How to Participate

To qualify, customers must spend $350 AUD or more in a single transaction at OnceWas online (www.oncewas.com.au) during the Promotion Period.
Qualifying transactions will be automatically entered into the Promotion.
All eligible orders placed during the Promotion Period will be automatically entered into the draw. Winners will be drawn at the end of the campaign to ensure all participants have had the opportunity to order and qualify.
Winners will be announced via email.

5. Prizes

The Ultimate VIP Experience (x1 Winner)

Prize includes:

2 VIP invitations to the exclusive OnceWas Spring Styling & Fashion Event
Return flights (up to $1,000 AUD)
2 nights' accommodation (up to $500 AUD)
Personal 1:1 styling session ($500 AUD)

Total prize value: $2,000 AUD

The competition winner will be announced via email on 24 July 2026.
The winner must confirm acceptance by 11:59 PM AEST 26 July 2026 via email. If the winner cannot attend or does not confirm within the specified timeframe, the prize will be passed on to another participant to claim.
The prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable.
The prize must be redeemed at the OnceWas Private Spring Styling & Fashion Event in July 2026.
The prize is non-transferable and must be used by the winner.
Flight dates cannot be changed unless the winner chooses to handle changes independently, in which case the Promoter will provide a travel voucher equivalent to the allocated flight value ($1000 AUD). Any additional costs will be the responsibility of the winner.
Any orders that are returned or credited will no longer be eligible to win.

Private Virtual Spring Preview with Founder (x3 Winners)

Prize includes:

A personalised 1:1 virtual styling session tailored to the winner
An exclusive first look at the Spring Collection during a private preview with the Founder & Creative Director
The prize must be redeemed via email reply by 11:59 PM AEST 26 July 2026.
The styling session will be booked for a mutually agreeable date with OnceWas before the end of August 2026.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

Competition winners will be drawn and notified via email on 24 July 2026.
Winners must claim their prize by responding to the notification by 11:59 PM AEST 26 July 2026. Failure to claim will result in forfeiture.

7. General Conditions

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity of participants and disqualify any participant engaging in fraudulent behaviour or breaching these Terms & Conditions.
Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by participants arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance of any prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Privacy

By participating, entrants agree to the Promoter collecting and using their personal information for marketing and promotional purposes.
Personal information will not be shared with third parties without the entrant's consent, except as required by law.

9. Force Majeure

If the Promotion is affected by events beyond the Promoter's control (e.g. natural disasters, technical malfunctions), the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion without liability.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Participants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

Sale cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, Membership credits or Loyalty discount codes.
$300 Membership credit cannot be used on sale items.
Items marked as FINAL SALE are not eligible for return, exchange or refund.
Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.

Once you've added 2 or more items to your cart, you'll be prompted to add your free gift.
Silk scarf gifts with purchase are only available in the specified colours.
Gifts with purchase will be forfeited if orders are returned for refund.
If returning items for a refund from qualifying orders, please include the free gift so that your refund can be processed.
Gift with purchase offer is only available while stocks last.
This offer cannot be applied retrospectively.
Gift with purchase is not valid in conjunction with any other discount codes, Membership credits or Loyalty discounts.
