We had the privilege of having Rachel visiting our Styling Studio to try on her most-wanted Spring pieces from our latest collection Riviera. Get to know Rachel’s tastes and styling tips for her petite 4.11f figure as she reveals what’s on her wish list this season – and how she will be wearing the spring’s biggest trends.
“I have been wearing OnceWas for 5 years now!!! I am a returning customer because of these gorgeous prints but also the quality of the fabrics, they wash well. If you own one of their winter jackets, you know that it’s not just for this season or the next. I still wear my bomber jacket from 4 years ago, it looks immaculate! The quality and thought behind the styles caught my attention all those years ago and still does today."
"I am 4.11f (the same height as Kylie Minogue and Shakira)! Throughout my 20s, 30s and now 40s, it has been a struggle to find clothes to suit my height. Over time with trial and error, I have found styles and brands that flatter me… OnceWas is one of those brands."
"I have never taken up any of my OnceWas designs. This includes all their maxi skirts and dresses. This is because they have belts on their designs which allows me to pull the dress over, avoiding alterations. No matter what shoe height I wear, it gives me the option to pull the fabric a little more to compensate."
"I used to steer away from pants until the recent comeback of high-waisted cuts, I have learned that they lengthen my body! I adore any pants that are tailored or have a wide leg. How fabulous is the new Grace Linen Wide Leg Pant (launching in September)?! The piping is beautiful which accentuates my waist and elongates my legs. I haven't had to take mine up but I will admit I am wearing massive wedges (which is my preference over sneakers)."

If you follow me on IG you will know I love prints, florals and stripes! I was super excited to visit today, this Spring collection has the most AMAZING prints. Once you see it, you will want to jump on a yacht and go sailing with a cocktail in your hand, cool sunglasses and a beautiful wide-brim straw hat. One of my favourite pieces from this collection includes the Margot Cami. I love the OnceWas signature buttons through the middle, giving you the option to undo the bottom 4 to tie it up or tuck it into your pants/shorts. It’s so versatile, everything Bel has designed has so much thought.”
