Byron Bay! We got engaged at the lighthouse, married at Watego's Beach, and have returned every year since for holidays - now with 3 kids in tow! The beaches are stunning, cafes and restaurants are delicious, and a variety of stores & fashion to enjoy shopping too! There is something for everyone.

The beach. We are like that family with ALL the equipment - but it's worth it! We pack lunch and snacks and the kids will spend hours surfing, swimming, playing in the sand - and enjoying nature! I feel so lucky to live in Sydney and have access to so many incredible beaches on our doorstep - from Balmoral to Freshwater, Avalon to Palm Beach.

I have always loved the Opera Bar for the view, it's not rooftop but it has the most amazing view looking out over the harbour, while enjoying an Aperol Spritz! I love being amongst all the hustle and bustle of the people of all walks of life, while sitting between Sydney's iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

What is the best part of our Australian summer?
BBQ with friends or a picnic on the beach always feels so Australian, and such a big part of our Summer lifestyle. The kids play and swim for hours, munch on classic sausages in bread and icy poles, while adults chat and and relax - it never feels rushed. We just always make sure we are all lathered in sunscreen, the Australian sun is hottttt!
